## Synopsis

Radiant (2018-2020) is a Japanese animated shonen fantasy adventure series created by Tony Valente and broadcast on NHK Educational TV. Seth, a boy determined to become a great magician, travels alongside a group of witches who are searching for the mythical land of Radiant. Their journey is complicated by the Inquisition, which hunts them relentlessly, and by monsters called Néméses that fall from the sky into the world. The engine of the story is a long road of pursuit, close escapes and magical combat, with each episode built around a new encounter on the way. Principal voice cast includes Yumiri Hanamori as Seth and Aoi Yuki as Mélie, with Ayane Sakura as Lieselotte and Koji Yusa as Dragunov in supporting roles. The series spans two seasons and forty-two episodes, with a steady mix of slapstick comedy and action. Its tone is light and playful, with moments of tension when the threats close in. Fans of Fairy Tail, Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic and Mairimashita! Iruma-kun will find familiar pleasures in its lively cast and fantasy energy.
