## Synopsis

Diablero (2018-2020) is a Mexican supernatural mystery series created by José Manuel Cravioto and Pablo Tébar for Netflix. A young priest joins forces with a seasoned demon hunter and a paranormal expert, played by Christopher Von Uckermann as Ramiro Ventura and Horacio García Rojas as Elvis Infante, to search for a girl taken into the hidden underworld of Mexico City. Gisselle Kuri plays Nancy, a principal figure in the investigation, and Fátima Molina plays Keta. The engine of the show is a missing-person hunt that drags the team through occult dens, criminal networks and demonic encounters, with each episode peeling back another layer of the city's dark side. Across two seasons and fourteen episodes, the story stays serialized, following one continuing search rather than standalone cases. The tone is gritty and eerie, with a dread-filled atmosphere, grim street-level violence and a faith-versus-darkness undercurrent. Set in contemporary Mexico City, it blends local folk beliefs about demons with the procedural pull of a hunt. Fans of Constantine and Sleepy Hollow will find resonance in its occult investigation and reluctant-hero energy. The series was canceled after its second season, leaving its central search unfinished.
