## Synopsis

Call DiCaprio! (2018-2019) is a Russian comedy drama miniseries created by Zhora Kryzhovnikov for Premier. Its protagonist, Yegor Rumyantsev (Alexander Petrov), is the star of a popular television medical series, and his success has made him vain, careless and unreliable. He skips the set, sleeps around and lies to the people closest to him, until a diagnosis of HIV forces him to confront what he has done. The engine of the show is his brother Lev (Andrey Burkovskiy), a mediocre actor with a pregnant wife and two young daughters, who hosts a handicraft program on a cable channel and sees his chance when he is offered Yegor's role. Marina Ivanovskaya (Yuliya Aleksandrova) anchors the family's domestic pressures. The nine-episode run is built from set disasters, romantic entanglements and family crises, each one pushing both brothers toward a reckoning with their careers. Its tone mixes sharp satire of Moscow show business with sincere, uncomfortable emotion, in the vein of Entourage and Extras, with a grounded bittersweet register. Fans of biting ensemble comedy with real stakes will find resonance here.
