## Synopsis

Girl from Nowhere (2018-2021) is a Thai high school thriller series created for Netflix and GMM 25, a two-season anthology with 21 episodes of 42 minutes each. Nanno, a calm and enigmatic transfer student played by Chicha Amatayakul, arrives at a new school in each story and quietly draws out the cruelty, hypocrisy and corruption hidden beneath respectable campus life. Her engine is simple and relentless: she observes, finds the secret each community works hard to bury, and forces its people to confront the consequences of their choices. Each episode is a self-contained case built on bullying, betrayal and social issues drawn from real-world pressures, so the viewing experience shifts from one school and cast to the next while the protagonist remains constant. The tone is cold, tense and unsettling, with a supernatural edge that heightens the sense of justice turning into punishment. Its stylish, school-set atmosphere and moral unease make it a natural pick for viewers who enjoy the bite of Elite, the social anatomy of Big Little Lies, and the anthology structure of Black Mirror. Fans of revenge thrillers and dark teen drama will find its mix of menace and moral reckoning compelling.
