## Synopsis

45 rpm (2019) is a Spanish drama series created by Gema R. Neira and Ramón Campos for Antena 3. Set in the contemporary Spanish music industry, it follows the birth of a new record label and three characters fighting for their dreams inside its complex, competitive world. The engine of the show is ambition colliding with the demands of the business, as artists, executives and staff push against one another for success and survival. Its thirteen episodes of roughly fifty-five minutes each form a single season, and the story unfolds as one continuing arc rather than standalone cases. Principal characters include Robert Aguirre, Maribel Campoy and Guillermo Rojas, with Pedro Zabala among the other key figures. The tone is driven and sultry, with a restless, gritty atmosphere that blends melodrama and ambition. Viewers who enjoy Vis a Vis, Entourage and Smash will find a similar appetite for ensemble drama in a glamorous, high-pressure creative business.
