## Synopsis

Carole & Tuesday (2019) is a Japanese animated science fiction musical drama created as a Fuji TV broadcast anime. Carole (voiced by Miyuri Shimabukuro, with Nai Br.XX also credited in the role) is a part-time worker who meets Tuesday (voiced by Kana Ichinose, with Celeina Ann also credited), a wealthy girl, and the two discover they have found the musical partner each needs. Their partnership is the engine of the series: they chase a path into the music industry while navigating the obstacles of a near-future Mars where ambition and money do not sit easily together. Gus (Akio Otsuka), Angela (Sumire Uesaka), Tao (Hiroshi Kamiya) and Roddy (Miyu Irino) round out the principal cast, while Ertegun (Mamoru Miyano) adds a sharper edge to the story. The series unfolds across a single 24-episode season of roughly 23-minute episodes, a serialized arc that moves through performances, rivalries and creative breakthroughs. Its tone is hopeful and buoyant, with bright music sequences set against a shadowed, politically tinged future. Viewers who enjoy Macross Delta, BanG Dream! and Eureka Seven will find a similar blend of youthful musical ambition and science fiction atmosphere.
