## Synopsis

3Below: Tales of Arcadia (2018-2019) is a American animated family science fiction comedy series created by Guillermo del Toro for Netflix. Two royal teen aliens, the princess Aja (voice of Tatiana Maslany) and her brother Krel (voice of Diego Luna), crash-land on Earth and must blend in with human kids while evading intergalactic bounty hunters. Their engine is simple and urgent: stay hidden, stay together, and keep out of reach of pursuers who never stop searching. Each episode is built around small domestic mishaps and awkward attempts to pass as ordinary teenagers, with the alien siblings navigating everyday suburban life alongside a human ally. Mother (voiced by Glenn Close) and the bounty hunter Varvatos Vex (voiced by Nick Offerman) add menace and comic friction to the chase. The tone is breezy and cheerful, with a light fish out of water comedy sensibility and a steady undercurrent of sibling loyalty. Its 3D animated style feels bright and playful, while the stakes stay gentle enough for young viewers. Fans of Lilo and Stitch and Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans will find a similar mix of cosmic outsiders, family bonds, and del Toro-flavored fantasy in this two-season series.
