## Synopsis

Interns (2018-2024) is a French medical drama series created by Thomas Lilti for Canal+. Set in a contemporary Paris-area public hospital, the Raymond-Poincaré internal medicine ward, it follows a group of inexperienced interns and a medical examiner who are cut off from their senior doctors when sanitary measures confine the department to home. Louise Bourgoin plays Chloé Antovska and Alice Belaïdi plays Alyson Lévêque, two of the young doctors whose drive to keep patients alive collides with exhaustion, inexperience and the chaos of a ward running on improvisation. Karim Leklou and Zacharie Chasseriaud round out the central group. The engine is simple and relentless: unfamiliar colleagues must learn to trust each other while managing real patients, real diagnoses and a system that never has enough hands. Across three seasons and twenty-two episodes, each hour is built from case-driven medical emergencies intertwined with personal stakes. The tone is grounded and sincere, with warmth, tension and moments of levity. Fans of Grey's Anatomy, ER and other hospital ensemble dramas will find resonance in its humane portrait of young medics.
