## Synopsis

Molang (2015-2025) is a French-British animated family series created by Marie-Caroline Villand for Canal+, a long-running run of short four-minute episodes across six seasons and roughly 312 episodes. It follows Molang, an eccentric, joyful rabbit, and his shy, discreet, emotional friend Piu Piu, a little chick whose differences make their bond unusual and tender. Their days range from the mundane, like watering the vegetable patch, to the extraordinary, like flying to the moon, and each episode builds from a small misunderstanding or unsettling moment into a playful resolution shared with their friends. The engine is simple: a tricky incident arrives, the two characters work through it with gentle humor, and the group celebrates together. Narration is minimal and the charm comes from expressive character animation and sweet, cozy comedy. The tone is affectionate, whimsical and comforting, with a warm current of friendship running through every short. Fans of Peppa Pig, Pingu and Bluey will find similar gentleness, small-scale adventure and reassuring humor aimed squarely at young children and the families who watch with them.
