## Synopsis

Steppe (2018-2023) is a Turkish crime drama series created by Levent Cantek for BluTV. Veteran police chief Seyfi (Yiğit Özşener) teams up with rookie officer Nuri Pamir (Ekin Koç) to investigate the murder of a child in an unnamed city. The case draws them toward Mr. Abbas and his daughter Dilara (Nur Fettahoğlu), two well-known figures whose standing in their circles makes every lead dangerous. Each episode builds through interviews, pressure from above, and the slow uncovering of hidden connections between wealth and violence. The show runs across two seasons and eighteen episodes of roughly fifty-five minutes, following one continuing investigation rather than isolated cases. Its tone is bleak and tense, with a heavy, atmospheric grimness that suits viewers who enjoy Nordic noir and layered police procedurals. Fans of Mare of Easttown, Wayward Pines and Turkish crime dramas will find the same mix of grief, moral compromise and a small community hiding its secrets. The series is set in present-day Turkey and draws its mood from a vast, lonely landscape that contrasts with the closed circles of the city elite.
