## Synopsis

Little Coincidences (2018-2021) is a Spanish comedy series created by Javier Veiga for Prime Video. Marta Hazas plays Marta Valdivia, one of the central figures in a story about two strangers, Marta and Javi, who have no intention of complicating their lives with anyone and never imagined becoming parents until circumstance pushes them into it. Alicia Rubio plays Elisa, and Mariano Peña plays Joaquín Valdivia, among the principal figures orbiting the central pair. The engine of the series is the friction between reluctant adults and the sudden obligations of a family they did not choose, with each episode built around everyday domestic complications and the awkward negotiations that follow. Spanning three seasons and thirty episodes of roughly fifty minutes each, it plays as a continuing comedy rather than a case-of-the-week format. Its tone is wry and warm, with rueful humor about love, responsibility, and the messy shape of modern family life. The production sits within contemporary Spanish television, set in present-day Spain, and fans of Jane the Virgin, Friends, and Mira quien baila will find a similar blend of romance, humor, and ensemble relationships.
