## Synopsis

Sunderland 'Til I Die (2018-2024) is an English-language sports docuseries created for Netflix, produced by Fulwell 73 Productions, following the football club Sunderland through its 2017-18 season. Presented as a fly on the wall documentary, it tracks the club's struggle to bounce back after relegation from the Premier League, with the club's players, manager and board members appearing as themselves, including John O'Shea, Aiden McGeady, Martin Bain and Nick Barnes. The engine of the series is simple and gripping: a proud northeast english club must win matches it is expected to lose, while the people in charge juggle pressure from fans, owners and the league table. Each episode is built from training ground moments, dressing room tension, matchday anxiety and frank boardroom conversations. Across three seasons and seventeen episodes, the series moves at the pace of a long football campaign, with moments of hope and deep frustration. The tone is candid, emotional and often raw, a portrait of working class identity and loyalty to a club. Fans of Drive to Survive, Last Chance U and The Last Dance will find resonance in its intimate access and its focus on a team under pressure. Its outcome is a real sporting story, so the series rewards viewers who care about football and about the people who live it every week.
