## Synopsis

Gangs of London (2020-2025) is a British crime drama series created by Gareth Evans and Matt Flannery for Sky Atlantic. When crime boss Finn Wallace is assassinated, the fragile truce between the rival gangs of London collapses into open conflict. His grieving, volatile son Sean Wallace (Joe Cole) must seize control of the family empire and hunt the people responsible, while his mother Marian Wallace (Michelle Fairley) and the undercover detective Elliot Finch (Ṣọpẹ́ Dìrísù) navigate the shifting alliances. Across three seasons, the story moves through a web of crews, drug deals, betrayals and brutal street violence, with each episode built around escalating confrontations and the constant threat of a new power grab. The tone is gritty, propulsive and relentlessly tense, with stylised action set pieces that give the show an adrenaline-fuelled edge. The show is a TV-MA prestige crime drama with an action streak, rooted in the London underworld and loosely drawn from a video game. Fans of Peaky Blinders, Snowfall and Sons of Anarchy will find resonance in its blend of family loyalty, gang politics and violence.
