## Synopsis

Amphibia (2019-2022) is an American animated fantasy comedy series created by Matt Braly for Disney Channel. Thirteen-year-old Anne Boonchuy, a self-centered teenager from our world, is magically pulled into Amphibia, a rural marshland populated by frog-people. Her main companion is the excitable young frog Sprig Plantar, and the Plantar family, including Polly Plantar and Hopediah Plantar, anchors the household she stumbles into. Each episode is a brisk, self-contained adventure in which Anne's blunders and vanity collide with a strange new land full of rival factions, odd creatures and sword and sorcery peril, while a loose serialized thread builds across three seasons. The tone is breezy and warm, with awkward teen humor, sincere friendship and a steady undercurrent of growth. Its humble, mud-soaked marsh setting gives the fantasy an everyday texture. Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender, Gravity Falls and Adventure Time will find a similar blend of kid-friendly wit, heart and imaginative worldbuilding, along with a heroine who learns that friendship matters more than fame.
