## Synopsis

The Other Two (2019-2023) is a US sitcom created by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider for Comedy Central, later streaming on HBO Max and Max. Former professional dancer Brooke Dubek (Heléne Yorke) and her brother Cary Dubek (Drew Tarver), an aspiring actor, chase careers in New York show business while their 13-year-old brother Chase Dubek (Case Walker) becomes an overnight internet celebrity. Their mother Pat Dubek (Molly Shannon) and manager Streeter Peters (Ken Marino) feed the family's ambitions and entanglements. The engine is simple: Brooke and Cary want recognition and relevance, but every audition, sponsorship and viral moment pulls them further into their younger brother's orbit, and envy and loyalty keep colliding. Told across three seasons of ten episodes each, it is a continuing comedy in which each episode builds on the family's latest humiliations. Its tone is brisk, sharp and irreverent, with a warm undercurrent beneath the cringe, and its satire of celebrity culture is pointed without being preachy. Fans of Entourage, Episodes and Curb Your Enthusiasm will find the same mix of showbiz vanity and awkward comedy here, set in a modern Manhattan of influencers and talent agents.
