## Synopsis

Can You Hear Me? (2019-2021) is a Québécois comedy-drama series created for Télé-Québec, running three seasons of ten half-hour episodes each. Ada (Florence Longpré), Fabiola (Mélissa Bédard) and Carolanne (Ève Landry) are three friends who lean on one another while juggling unreliable boyfriends, strained relationships with their families and the daily pressures of money in a low-income neighborhood. Each episode is built from small domestic crises, late-night confidences and the bickering that comes with tight friendship, so the engine of the show is the question of how these women keep their footing when life keeps knocking them off balance. The tone moves easily between sharp, irreverent humor and sincere moments of vulnerability, with a warm, grounded texture that feels lived-in rather than polished. The series treats its characters' messy choices with affection and wit, finding hope in ordinary solidarity. Its frank treatment of romance, sex and family conflict is shaped by a contemporary francophone sensibility, and fans of Broad City, Insecure and Girls will find resonance in its portrait of young women supporting each other through difficult, funny and tender circumstances. Its brisk episodes and intimate focus make it an easy, emotionally rewarding watch.
