## Synopsis

Rust Valley Restorers (2018-2024) is a Canadian reality documentary series created by Matthew Shewchuk and Tyson Hepburn for Global TV and History. Set in a garage in the Rocky Mountains, the series follows a crew of car lovers led by Mike Hall, Avery Shoaf and Connor Hall as they take abandoned heaps of rust and attempt to transform them into collectible classic cars. The engine of each episode is practical: a derelict vehicle arrives, the crew assesses what is salvageable, sources parts, and works through bodywork, mechanical repairs and finishing until the finished machine is ready. Across five seasons and fifty hour-long episodes the series keeps a steady, unhurried rhythm, with the crew's tight camaraderie and banter providing much of the warmth. The tone is hopeful and comforting, rooted in hands-on craft and the satisfaction of seeing something battered become gleaming again. Fans of Overhaulin', Fast N' Loud and Vintage Rebuilds will find a similar appeal in its workshop camaraderie and its transformation-driven premise, and the show suits viewers who enjoy watching skilled tradespeople at work.
