## Synopsis

The Face of Analia (2008-2009) is a Spanish-language telenovela created by Humberto 'Kiko' Olivieri for Telemundo. Elizabeth Gutiérrez plays Analía Moncada, whose life is intertwined with that of Mariana Andrade de Montiel, a woman she also portrays, forming the emotional engine of the series. Martín Karpan plays Daniel Montiel, Maritza Rodríguez plays Sara Andrade Rodríguez, and Gabriel Porras plays Ricardo 'Ricky' Montana, whose romantic and familial entanglements push the story forward. Gaby Espino appears in a special role tied to the dual identities at the heart of the plot. Across a single season of 178 episodes, the show builds its drama through secrets, rivalries, shifting loyalties and romantic longing, with each episode adding new complications to the central love triangles. Its atmosphere is glossy and heightened, sliding between tenderness and suspense in the classic telenovela manner. Fans of Yo soy Betty, la fea and Marimar will find resonance in its melodramatic pacing, mistaken identity and emotionally charged romance. The result is a long, immersive viewing experience that rewards patience and an appetite for sweeping, sentimental storytelling.
