## Synopsis

Undone (2019-2022) is an American adult animated science fiction drama series created by Kate Purdy and Raphael Bob-Waksberg for Prime Video. Its protagonist, Alma Winograd-Diaz (Rosa Salazar), survives a serious car crash and discovers she can move through her own and her family's timelines, and she uses this ability to dig into the circumstances of her father's death. Her sister Becca (Angelique Cabral), her mother Camila Diaz (Constance Marie) and her father Jacob Winograd (Bob Odenkirk) orbit the investigation, and Alma's search pulls her through fractured memories, family secrets and a growing sense that reality itself is unstable. Each episode works as a mosaic of past and present, so the engine of the show is a woman trying to change what she has seen while realizing that every revelation reshapes the family she thought she knew. The series is filmed in rotoscope, which gives its live action performances a painted, dreamlike quality that blurs the boundary between the ordinary and the spiritual. Across two seasons of eight episodes each, the story stays tightly serialized and emotionally intimate. Its tone is melancholic, surreal and haunting, with grief and memory at the center. Fans of Dark, Waking Life and Legion will find resonance in its time bending mysteries and psychological interiority.
