## Synopsis

The Kirlian Frequency (2017-2021) is an Argentine animated supernatural mystery series created by Cristian Ponce and Hernán Bengoa. Its ten short episodes, each roughly ten minutes long, unfold as the midnight broadcast of a lone DJ, voiced by Nicolás van de Moortele as the Announcer, who takes calls from listeners reporting strange events on the outer edges of Kirlian, a lost city somewhere in Argentina. Each episode is built from different callers and tales, so the engine is the slow accumulation of unsettling stories rather than one continuing plot. Casper Uncal appears as Caín Eldritch, one of the figures drawn into the town's nightly oddities. The series spans two seasons and was released across independent online platforms rather than a traditional network. Its mood is eerie, mysterious and quietly exciting, with the host seen only as eyes and glasses, leaving viewers unsure whether he is human or one of the monsters that haunt the town. Fans of Night Vale, The Twilight Zone and Black Mirror will find the same appeal in strange voices, anthology-style unease and an atmosphere that lingers after each short episode ends.
