## Synopsis

ImMATURE (2019-2023) is an Indian coming-of-age comedy-drama web series created by Sameer Saxena for Prime Video and produced by The Viral Fever. Omkar Kulkarni plays Dhruv Sharma, a sixteen-year-old in a hurry to grow up, who sets out to win the heart of Chhavi, the feisty class topper played by Rashmi Agdekar. He is joined by Chinmay Chandraunshuh as the wannabe bad boy Kabir and Naman Jain as Susu, a color-blind friend who doesn't know it. Across three seasons of short, self-contained episodes, the trio navigates their last years of school, from a first drink and a first fight to a first broken heart. The engine is the gap between how old these boys feel and how little they know, which produces awkward crushes, reckless schemes and quiet moments of loyalty. The tone is breezy and affectionate, with sincere undercurrents of nostalgia about the friendships that carry a young life. Set in a contemporary Indian school milieu, the series is a lighthearted, relatable slice of adolescence. Fans of The Inbetweeners and Freaks and Geeks will find resonance in its blend of teen comedy and tender growing-up drama, and viewers who love Permanent Roommates will recognize its warmth.
