## Synopsis

The Final Call (2019) is a Hindi-language Indian thriller limited series created by Vijay Lalwani and produced by Jar Pictures for ZEE5 and Weyyak. Across a single eight-episode season of roughly forty minutes each, the story follows a Mumbai to Sydney flight whose safety unravels after Captain Karan Sachdev (Arjun Rampal) decides to take his own life while airborne. Editor Shalini (Meenal Kapoor) becomes a key figure in the unfolding crisis, while Krishnamurthy (Neeraj Kabi) and Captain Joe Rogan (R. Bhakti Klein) face pressure in the cockpit and the cabin. The engine of the show is a ticking clock: every episode tightens the window in which the crew and passengers must act, and each hour brings a new complication to the cabin. The tone is tense and claustrophobic, with an emotional undercurrent of despair and human connection. Fans of Flight, Non-Stop and Lost will find resonance in its confined ensemble peril and its focus on ordinary people trapped in an extraordinary situation. Set in the present day, it is a contained, fast-moving drama that keeps its stakes sharply personal.
