## Synopsis

Family Reunion (2019-2022) is a Netflix family sitcom created by Meg DeLoatch, running three seasons and 44 half-hour episodes. Tia Mowry plays Cocoa McKellan, the mother at the center of a Seattle household of six that travels to Columbus, Georgia for the McKellan Family Reunion and decides to stay close to their relatives. Anthony Alabi plays her husband Moz, while Loretta Devine appears as M'Dear, the matriarch whose house becomes the family's gathering place. Each episode builds comedy from the collision of city habits with a loud, loving Southern clan, with the parents trying to keep their children on track while relatives drop in with opinions and advice. The engine is the everyday friction of blending households: sibling rivalries, teenage rebellion, and the small crises of a family learning new neighbors and schools. The show runs as a light, episodic sitcom in which storylines close within each episode while the household's ties deepen across seasons. The tone is warm, breezy, and affectionate, with cozy family moments and gentle humor. Fans of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Family Matters and Blackish will find resonance in its multigenerational comedy and tight-knit family loyalty.
