## Synopsis

Kill It (2019) is a South Korean crime thriller series created for OCN, a single-season run of twelve hour-long episodes produced by Studio Dragon and Binge Works. Jang Ki-yong plays Kim Soo-Hyun, a veterinarian who secretly kills while tending to animals, and his hidden past becomes the engine of the story as Nana's Do Hyun-Jin and Ji Il-ju's Yoon Jung-Woo close in on the truth. Each episode layers suspense around murder investigations, shifting alliances and concealed identities, so the chase unfolds across a contemporary Korean setting rather than a historical one. The tone is dark, bitter and tense, with moments of violence and a steady undercurrent of loss that gives the thrills an emotional weight. Its contrast between gentle care for animals and cold, deliberate killing gives the premise a striking edge. Fans of Stranger and Hannibal will find resonance in its moral ambiguity and the cat and mouse rhythm between hunter and hunted, and viewers who enjoy the wider korean crime tradition will recognize its brooding, character driven pull.
