## Synopsis

The School Nurse Files is a South Korean fantasy drama from 2020, created for Netflix. Jung Yu-mi plays Ahn Eun-young, an eccentric school nurse who wields a light-up sword to protect students from monsters only she can see. Nam Joo-hyuk plays Hong In-pyo, a teacher drawn into her strange world, with Hyun Woo-seok and Park Hae-eun rounding out a cast of students and staff caught up in the school's hidden dangers. Each episode brings a new threat, from ghosts lurking in dim corridors to restless spirits tied to students' troubles, so the engine of the show is the nurse balancing infirmary duties with exorcism-style fights. The season forms a single contained story. Set in a present-day Korean high school, the series mixes everyday campus life with supernatural menace. Its tone is playful and offbeat, with bright, stylized action sitting alongside moments of unease and genuine warmth between its characters. Viewers who enjoy quirky heroines and a blend of comedy and the uncanny will find it a light, inventive k-drama.
