## Synopsis

Abhay (2019-2022) is an Indian crime thriller series created for ZEE5, a Hindi-language television drama inspired by true events. Its protagonist, SP Abhay Pratap Singh, played by Kunal Kemmu, is a sharp investigating officer who thinks like the criminals he pursues and will go to any extent to solve a case. Alongside him, Palak Singh plays Kritika and Asha Negi plays Sonam, with Vijay Raaz appearing as the menacing Mrityu across the run. The engine of the series is the chase itself: each case pulls Abhay deeper into the dark, gruesome underworld of violent crime, where the price of cracking a case is measured in the danger to innocent lives and in his own unraveling personal life. The three-season run of eight-episode arcs is built around recurring investigations that carry a single thread of unresolved menace from one season to the next. Set in contemporary India, the series moves through crowded cities and police offices with a tense, grim atmosphere. Its tone is brooding and intense, with a relentless sense of dread that rewards viewers who enjoy gritty police procedurals in the vein of Sacred Games and Mirzapur. Fans of dark investigative thrillers will find its unflinching look at obsession and moral cost deeply absorbing.
