## Synopsis

DC Super Hero Girls (2019-2021) is an American animated superhero comedy created by Lauren Faust for Cartoon Network. Set in a present-day high school in Metropolis, the series follows not-so-typical teenagers Diana, Kara and Barbara, who are better known to the world as Wonder Woman, Supergirl and Batgirl. Voiced by Grey DeLisle as Diana Prince, Nicole Sullivan as Kara Danvers and Tara Strong as Barbara Gordon, the heroines balance homework, friendships, family pressures and the messy social life of teenagers with the duties of protecting their city. Their engine is simple and relatable: each episode pits them against a sinister school-aged super-villain while their secret identities strain under ordinary adolescent drama. Across two seasons and seventy-eight short episodes of roughly eleven minutes, the stories remain light and self-contained, with an ensemble that includes Jessica Cruz as Green Lantern and Zatanna as a supporting presence. The tone is breezy, playful and warm, with bright colors and quick gags that reward both young viewers and longtime DC fans. Fans of Teen Titans Go!, Batman: The Brave and the Bold and Young Justice will find a similar blend of comic-book action and kid-friendly humor.
