## Synopsis

Hercai (2019-2021) is a Turkish romance drama series created by Banu Akdeniz, Sümeyye Ezel and Cem Karcı for atv, running three seasons and sixty-nine episodes. Miran Aslanbey (Akin Akinözü) plans revenge for his parents' death by marrying Reyyan Şadoğlu (Ebru Şahin), daughter of the rival family he holds responsible, but the scheme begins to crumble as he falls for her. Around them, Azize Aslanbey (Ayda Aksel) and Nasuh Şadoğlu (Macit Sonkan) and a web of hostile relatives keep the feud simmering, so each episode turns on deception, family pressure and secrets that threaten to tear both households apart. Built as a long serialized melodrama, it unfolds in a contemporary Turkish setting with sweeping emotional swings, heartbreak and romantic longing, and a steady undercurrent of suspense. Fans of Romeo and Juliet, Kara Sevda and Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? will find the same blend of forbidden love and generational vendetta.
