## Synopsis

Dead Pixels (2019-2021) is a British comedy sitcom created by Jon Brown for E4, a short-run series of two seasons and twelve half-hour episodes that was canceled before its story could fully close. Meg (Alexa Davies), Nicky (Will Merrick) and Usman (Sargon Yelda) are twenty-something friends whose lives revolve around Kingdom Scrolls, a massively popular fantasy game of wizards and wyverns. Their routine is built around logging in, scheming in chat and treating the virtual world as more important than anything offline. The engine of the show comes from the arrival of Russell (David Mumeni), a gaming novice whose bumbling enthusiasm drags the team into situations they cannot solve from behind a screen, forcing them to face everyday real-world problems. Each episode is a self-contained comic set piece built from awkward social moments, misjudged plans and the friction between online identity and ordinary life. The tone is breezy, irreverent and affectionate, with cringe comedy rooted in relatable young adult anxieties. Set in contemporary Britain, it is a light, gently absurd portrait of friendship and gaming fandom. Fans of The IT Crowd, Friday Night Dinner and Community will find similar pleasures in its geeky camaraderie and sharp, character-driven laughs.
