## Synopsis

Fire Force (2019-2026) is a Japanese animated shounen action series produced by David Production and broadcast across a network of Japanese television stations. Set in Year 198 of the Solar Era in a dystopian Tokyo, it follows Shinra Kusakabe, a youth nicknamed Devil's Footprints who can ignite his feet at will, as he joins Special Fire Force Company 8. The engine of the show is simple and urgent: the fire brigade's members, who wield flame powers, race through the city to extinguish Infernals, people transformed into living infernos by spontaneous human combustion, while Shinra pursues the truth behind a mysterious blaze that killed his family twelve years earlier. The series runs across three seasons and roughly seventy-three episodes, with each episode built around a mission that escalates into larger battles and a growing conspiracy involving a corrupt church and a shadowy faction. Its tone mixes kinetic, visceral action with flashes of comedy and camaraderie among the company members. Fans of My Hero Academia, Demon Slayer and Attack on Titan will find a similar blend of spectacle, dark supernatural stakes and youthful heroism.
