## Synopsis

Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series (2019-2020) is a Canadian adult animated comedy created by John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells and Mike Smith and produced for Netflix. Continuing directly from the live action series' Season 12 finale, the show follows Nova Scotia's notorious petty criminals Ricky (voiced by Robb Wells), Julian (voiced by John Paul Tremblay) and Bubbles (voiced by Mike Smith) as they scheme, hustle and stumble through their rundown trailer park, now rendered as cartoon characters. The engine of the series is simple: the boys chase get rich quick schemes, dodge the police and bungle their way through petty crime, while the trailer park's colorful neighbors keep complicating their plans. Each episode is a crude, self contained caper built on profane banter, sleazy escapades and cannabis fueled chaos, across two seasons of ten episodes each. The setting is a working class Nova Scotia community, and the mood is irreverent, goofy and proudly lowbrow. Fans of Trailer Park Boys, Big Mouth and Metalocalypse will find resonance in its cult sensibility and its affection for loveable misfits.
