## Synopsis

Intelligence (2020-2021) is a British workplace comedy created by Nick Mohammed for Sky One. Nick Mohammed plays Joseph, an inept and tactless computer analyst at Britain's security headquarters, who is drawn into a scheme by David Schwimmer's Jerry, an arrogant maverick National Security Agent transferred from the United States. Their power grab threatens the ability of a newly formed team to combat cyber terrorism, and the comedy comes from ego, rivalry, and bungled ambition. Colin Salmon plays Rupert Fleming, a senior figure whose authority the scheme pressures. The show runs for two seasons of six episodes each, with short, dialogue driven episodes built on office friction rather than action set pieces. Its setting is a cramped modern government cyber unit in London, where bureaucracy and tech jargon sit beside serious threats. The tone is awkward, deadpan and cringe-inducing, with a sharp satirical edge toward institutional self importance. Fans of The Office and The Thick of It will find a similar appetite for embarrassment and petty power plays inside a serious institution.
