## Synopsis

Blood and Treasure (2019-2022) is an American action adventure drama series created by Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia for CBS and Paramount+. Antiquities expert Lexi Vaziri and Danny McNamara, a reformed art thief, are pulled into a shadowy hunt for a terrorist who funds his attacks by moving stolen artifacts across borders. Simon Hardwick and Karim Farouk add weight to the chase, while the partners trade skills and suspicion as they race from one dangerous city to the next. The engine of the series is a cat and mouse pursuit in which every recovered relic opens a new lead and every betrayal raises the stakes. Across two seasons and twenty-five episodes, the story runs as a serialized mission with self-contained global locations and a steady drive toward the terrorist. Its tone mixes glossy globetrotting adventure with tense, morally grey undercurrents, recalling the treasure hunt energy of Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and the crew based heist pacing of Leverage. Fans of The Librarians and Hawaii Five-0 will find a similar appetite for ancient mysteries and modern danger. The show is a canceled series with its central threat left unresolved, offering brisk, action forward entertainment for viewers who enjoy artifact hunts and reluctant partnerships.
