## Synopsis

Kuzgun (2019) is a Turkish crime drama series created by Özlem Yılmaz and Burcu Görgün Toptaş and produced by Ay Yapım for Star TV. Barış Arduç plays Kuzgun, the son of a dedicated policeman whose life collapsed when his corrupt partner betrayed him, sending him to prison and tearing his family apart. Two decades later Kuzgun returns to Istanbul with a single purpose, and the engine of the series is his plan to get close to the family of the man who destroyed his father. Burcu Biricik plays Dila, the woman he once loved, and the emotional stakes come from the tension between that old romance and his need for vengeance. Each episode is built from shifting alliances, dangerous underworld dealings, and confrontations where loyalty and betrayal keep trading places. The series is a short two-season run with twenty-one episodes, and it unfolds as one continuing story rather than case-of-the-week episodes. Set in present-day Istanbul, it moves through tense city streets, police corruption, and private family grief. The tone is brooding and melodramatic, with romance and violence pressing against each other. Fans of Ezel, Kara Sevda and Prison Break will find resonance in its revenge-driven serial storytelling and its wounded, morally complicated lead.
