## Synopsis

If It's for My Daughter, I'd Even Defeat a Demon Lord (2019) is a Japanese seinen anime fantasy series produced by MAHO FILM and aired on BS11, Tochigi TV and TOKYO MX. Its single season of twelve 24-minute episodes follows Dale Leki (voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto), a composed and highly skilled adventurer who has earned a name despite his youth. While on a job deep in the forest he finds Latina (voiced by Kanon Takao), a little devil girl almost wasted away, and he takes her home and becomes her adoptive father. The engine of the show is domestic: Dale learns to cook, provide and guard a child while the household around him grows, with supporting players Anthony (Katsumi Fukuhara), Chloe (Yuuki Kuwahara) and Kenis (Tsuyoshi Koyama) filling out the adventurer world. Each episode blends slice of life routines with fantasy stakes, and the lingering question of why Latina was in the forest and why she carries a criminal's mark gives the warmth an undercurrent of unease. The tone is tender, gently comic and affectionate, with a high fantasy backdrop of magic and demons set in an invented world. Fans of Kobayashi's Dragon Maid and Made in Abyss will find resonance in its blend of cozy domestic comedy and fantasy adventure.
