## Synopsis

Are You Lost? (2019) is a Japanese animated survival comedy series created by Kentarō Okamoto and broadcast on TOKYO MX. Across twelve short episodes of roughly twelve minutes each, a disastrous school trip strands four high school students on an uninhabited island. The protagonist Homare Onishima (voiced by Mao Ichimichi) stays calm and capable thanks to her survivalist father's training, while her classmates Mutsu Amatani (voiced by Kiyono Yasuno), Shion Kujō (voiced by Azumi Waki) and Asuka Suzumori (voiced by Hiyori Kono) struggle with hunger, nerves and each other. The engine of the show is the gap between panic and practical skill, as each episode turns a small wilderness problem into an opportunity for comedy and gentle friction. The tone is breezy and light, with moments of teenage awkwardness and a warm undercurrent of friendship. Its single season is a self-contained, episodic run in a classic school-life anime tradition. Fans of Lost, Robinson Crusoe on Mars and Hyouka will find some resonance in its castaway premise and ensemble of teen characters.
