## Synopsis

Barbie: Dreamhouse Adventures (2018-2019) is an American children's animated comedy series created for YTV and Netflix, a three-season run of twenty-six short episodes. Barbie Roberts (voiced by America Young) and her sisters Chelsea (Cassidy Naber), Skipper (Kirsten Day) and Stacie (Cassandra Lee Morris) film their daily lives as vlogs inside their glamorous Dreamhouse, with neighbour Ken Carson (Ritesh Rajan) and friends like Nikki Watkins (Desirae Whitfield) drifting in and out of the frame. Each episode is built from small, bright problems: a fashion dilemma, a party to plan, a friend's feelings to smooth over, or a sibling rivalry that needs sorting before the next upload. The format gives the show its shape, with confessional-style asides and camera-facing commentary keeping the pace brisk and the stakes gentle. The setting is a sunny, modern suburban home rendered in a polished, colourful toy-world look. The tone stays cheerful, warm and playful, with an emphasis on friendship, self-expression and sisterly loyalty. Viewers who enjoy The Loud House or Polly Pocket will find similar kid-friendly sibling comedy and light household antics here.
