## Synopsis

Dimension 20 (2018-present) is an American online comedy actual play series created by Brennan Lee Mulligan for Dropout. Mulligan serves as Game Master and also plays the character Tula, while a rotating ensemble of comedians and performers, including Danielle Radford as Anastasia Tension, Alaska Thunderfuck as Princess, Jujubee as Twyla, Bob the Drag Queen as Gertrude, and Monét X Change as Troyánn, improvise their way through fantasy adventures. The engine is simple and playful: a party of characters faces dangerous quests, villains, and bad luck rolled on dice, and each season is a self-contained campaign with its own world and story arc. Its shape is long running, spanning thirty seasons across many campaigns, with episodes running around 106 minutes and mostly structured as standalone adventures. The show takes its cues from classic tabletop roleplaying, filtered through improvised sketch-style banter, and its tone is joyful, breezy, and irreverent, with sincere moments of camaraderie. Set in invented fantasy realms rather than any real era, it emerges from the broader online actual play tradition. Fans of Critical Role, Whose Line Is It Anyway, and Mystery Science Theater 3000 will find resonance in its blend of improvised comedy and tabletop fantasy.
