## Synopsis

BH90210 (2019) is a American limited series created by Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Chris Alberghini and Mike Chessler for FOX. Its six 45-minute episodes follow the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 playing exaggerated versions of themselves: Ian Ziering, Jason Priestley, Tori Spelling, Jennie Garth, Brian Austin Green, Gabrielle Carteris and Shannen Doherty reunite nineteen years after the original ended when one of them pushes to launch a reboot. The engine is the messy process of getting the revival off the ground, with old rivalries, ego clashes and studio pressure turning each production meeting into a scene. Each episode builds on the friction between former co-stars, so the show plays as one continuing comic arc rather than standalone sketches. Set in present-day Los Angeles, the series is a mockumentary-flavored comedy with a soapy, self-mocking tone that wears its celebrity history openly. It blends sharp satire of Hollywood reboot culture with melodramatic romance and career anxiety. Fans of Extras, Entourage and Vinyl will find resonance in its insider humor and comedic self-portraits of fading stars.
