## Synopsis

Nancy Drew is an American teen mystery series that reimagines the classic sleuth for The CW across four seasons. Kennedy McMann plays Nancy, a bright young woman whose plans to leave her small hometown for college are upended when a supernatural murder pulls her back into local secrets. Alongside her close friend George Fan and Bess Marvin, she pools skills and nerve to chase clues, suspects and eerie events through a town that hides more than it reveals. Each season builds a whodunit spine while a continuing storyline keeps the stakes rising. The tone is cheerful and youthful, with a glossy young adult sheen, yet the tension of supernatural danger and buried family secrets keeps the atmosphere suspenseful and occasionally eerie. Friendship, loyalty and the pull of home give the mysteries emotional weight, and the investigations move at a brisk, playful pace. Viewers who enjoy Riverdale, Pretty Little Liars or Veronica Mars will find a familiar teen-drama rhythm with a heightened, slightly edgier take on a beloved detective.
