## Synopsis

Afili Aşk (2019-2020) is a Turkish romantic comedy series broadcast on Kanal D. Burcu Özberk plays Ayşe Özkayalı, a woman whose reputation is ruined by slanderous accusations and who is forced into marriage with Çağlar Ertuğrul's Kerem Yiğiter, a well-known rich and handsome playboy. Altan Erkekli plays Muhsin Yiğiter, the patriarch of the wealthy household, and Neşe Beykent plays Yelda Yiğiter, whose social expectations press on the new couple. The engine of the series is the mismatch between two people who are bound together by circumstance and must learn to live under one roof. Each episode is built from misunderstandings, family pressure, and sharp exchanges as the reluctant pair are pushed toward an affection neither expected. The single season of 38 episodes runs in a long, serialized romantic arc with comic set pieces inside the family home. The tone is light and teasing, with warmth and a touch of melodrama beneath the banter. Fans of Kara Sevda and Crazy Rich Asians will find resonance in its blend of wealth, forced intimacy, and romantic reversal. It is set in contemporary Turkey, among the upper-class circles of Istanbul.
