## Synopsis

Theory of Love (2019) is a Thai boys love romance drama series created for GMM 25, a Thai national-television production under the GMMTV banner. Filmology major Third (Atthaphan Phunsawat) is a member of the Savage Team, a close circle of college friends alongside Two (Nawat Phumphothingam), Bone (Chinnarat Siriphongchawalit) and Khai (Jumpol Adulkittiporn). Third has secretly been in love with Khai for years, and the engine of the series is his struggle to keep that feeling hidden while the friendship around him shifts under jealousy, rivalry and the pressures of living together. Each of the twelve episodes of roughly fifty minutes follows the everyday texture of campus life, cafe hangouts and shared spaces, building a single continuing story across one season. Set in a contemporary Thai university milieu, the series leans on lingering glances, half-finished confessions and the ache of a love that cannot yet be spoken. Its tone is wistful, tender and often angst-laden, with the emotional weight carried by quiet moments rather than grand gestures. Viewers who enjoy the bittersweet friendship dynamics of 2gether: The Series and the youthful longing of Heartstopper will find resonance here, along with the steady, character-driven romance that defines Thai youth dramas.
