## Synopsis

Hostages is an Indian crime thriller built around a single domestic siege. A respected doctor and her family are seized in their own home by masked intruders, and the story turns on the pressure this places on each member of the household. Police officers work to resolve the standoff while political figures press their own agendas, so the threat inside the house is matched by tangled power games outside it. Each episode is built from tight, claustrophobic negotiation, shifting loyalties and the constant risk of violence, with suspense that depends on small decisions and fragile trust rather than spectacle. The series carries a tense, paranoid mood, and it keeps returning to the emotional stakes of a family pulled between fear, love and self-preservation. Viewers who enjoy serialized hostage drama, morally fraught choices under pressure and institutional corruption will find its blend of domestic intimacy and public conspiracy gripping. The tone stays grim and gripping throughout, with an ending that leaves lasting unease rather than easy relief.
