## Synopsis

The Morning Show (2019-present) is an American prestige drama series created by Jay Carson for Apple TV. Jennifer Aniston plays Alex Levy, a veteran anchor whose long-running morning program is thrown into turmoil when a colleague's misconduct scandal breaks, and Reese Witherspoon plays Bradley Jackson, a fiery field correspondent brought in to steady the broadcast. Billy Crudup portrays Cory Ellison, the network executive juggling corporate pressure and ratings, while Mark Duplass plays producer Charlie 'Chip' Black, who works behind the camera to keep the daily show alive. Each season follows the characters through the grind of live television, boardroom battles, and the fallout of public reputations that can vanish overnight. The series unfolds as one continuing serialized story across its run, with the stakes of each episode tied to the next broadcast. Its tone is glossy and polished yet sharply cynical, mixing sleek New York studio imagery with backstage ambition, power struggles, and personal reckoning. Fans of The Newsroom, Succession and Billions will find resonance in its portrait of media power and the people who sell the news.
