## Synopsis

Kengan Ashura (2019-2024) is a Japanese adult animated action series created for Netflix, adapted from a manga and produced as an original net animation. Ohma Tokita, voiced by Tatsuhisa Suzuki, enters a hidden world where corporate disputes are settled through brutal gladiator bouts. He cares little for money and wants only to fight and win. Around him stand principal fighters and corporate figures voiced by Junya Enoki as Cosmo Imai, Hayato Kaneko as Ichirou Nakata, and Yumi Uchiyama as Kaede Akiyama, whose allegiances and rivalries shape each tournament. The engine of the series is a steady chain of one-on-one matches, each one a carefully staged contest of technique, endurance, and psychology, built into a larger ladder of battles that escalates season by season across its two seasons and fifty-two episodes. The tone is intense and visceral, with a sardonic streak and a fascination with masculine rivalry and the ethics of violence for profit. Its atmosphere mixes glossy corporate boardrooms with blood-soaked arenas. Fans of Baki, Kakegurui, and Hell's Paradise will find resonance in its mix of underground combat and high-stakes power games.
