## Synopsis

Coyote (2021) is an American crime drama series created by David Graziano, Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert for CBS All Access. Michael Chiklis plays Ben Clemens, a veteran Border Patrol agent of 32 years who is forced to work for the very people he spent his career trying to keep out of the United States. Alongside Juan Pablo Raba as Juan Diego 'El Catrin' Zamora and Adriana Paz as Silvia, he finds himself exposed to life on the other side of the wall, where his black and white views of the world are tested. The engine of the show is his shifting loyalties: every episode pushes him further into compromised territory, forcing him to weigh ideology against survival and the people he once hunted. The single season of six hour-long episodes is a continuing serialized story rather than a case of the week, and it was canceled before its arc fully resolved. Set along the usa mexico border, the series is gritty and tense, with a morally conflicted atmosphere, sharp cross-cultural friction and a brooding, grounded tone. Viewers who enjoy the moral compromise of Breaking Bad, the border menace of Sicario and the shifting alliances of Ozark will find resonance here.
