## Synopsis

Teenage Bounty Hunters (2020) is an American Netflix dramedy created by Kathleen Jordan and produced by Tilted Productions. Sixteen-year-old fraternal twins Sterling Wesley (Maddie Phillips) and Blair Wesley (Anjelica Bette Fellini) team up with veteran bounty hunter Bowser Jenkins (Kadeem Hardison) to track down bail skipping fugitives while their own lives unravel at high school. The engine of the show is the collision between their double lives: each case pulls them into dangerous streets, stakeouts and confrontations, and each episode then returns them to the classroom, the crushes and the sexual experimentation that teenage life demands. Their mother Debbie Wesley (Virginia Williams) keeps watch over a household shaped by faith and expectation, so every secret carries weight at home as well as on the job. The single season of ten roughly forty-nine minute episodes is serialized enough that the central relationships build across the run, while each bounty supplies a self-contained caper. The tone is breezy and irreverent, with comedic banter sitting beside frank, candid teen drama. Fans of Veronica Mars, Charmed and Gilmore Girls will find resonance in its mix of sleuthing, sibling loyalty and coming-of-age bruises. Set in contemporary American cities, it is a bold, brash take on the teen crime genre.
