## Synopsis

Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai (2023-2025) is an American animated family fantasy series created by Tze Chun for Max. Set in 1920s Shanghai, it follows ten-year-old Sam Wing (voiced by Izaac Wang) and his older sister Elle (voiced by Gabrielle Nevaeh) as they try to return the Mogwai Gizmo to the lush and perilous Valley of Jade. Their parents Fong Wing (Ming-Na Wen) and Hon Wing (BD Wong) anchor the family world, while Riley Greene (Matthew Rhys) and Chang (Simu Liu) add mystery and rivalry along the route. Each episode is a brisk, colorful adventure built from a stranded creature, a dangerous detour and a clever escape, all inside the 3D animated look of the franchise. Tone blends playful creature comedy with the warmth of sibling loyalty, and the mischievous spirit of the original films stays close to the surface. The show runs two seasons of ten episodes each, short twenty-three minute installments that move one continuing journey forward. Fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender, The Dragon Prince and the original Gremlins film will find a familiar blend of wonder, humor and family stakes here.
