## Synopsis

Industry (2020-present) is a British prestige drama series created by Mickey Down and Konrad Kay for HBO, produced by Bad Wolf. Following a cohort of young graduates competing for a limited number of permanent positions at a top investment bank in London, the series centres on Yasmin Kara-Hanani (Marisa Abela) and Harper Stern (Myha'la), with Gus Sackey (David Jonsson), Robert Spearing (Harry Lawtey) and Eric Tao (Ken Leung) among the principal players. The engine is a relentless scramble: each junior hire wants a permanent seat, and every deal, favour and bedroom encounter is a tool or a threat in that contest. Episodes unfold in the frantic world of trading floors, boardrooms and after-hours bars, while the boundaries between colleague, friend, lover and enemy steadily blur. The show is a serialized, one-story drama that runs across several seasons, each a tightly plotted arc. Its register is breathless, sardonic and visceral, with dark comedy and moral unease coursing beneath the glossy surface of London finance. Fans of Succession and Suits will find resonance in its corrosive ambition, its elite milieu and its restless, morally compromised characters.
