## Synopsis

Wu-Tang: An American Saga (2019-2023) is an American prestige drama series created by Alex Tse and RZA for Hulu. Set in early 1990s New York at the height of the crack cocaine epidemic, the series follows visionary musician Bobby Diggs, known as The RZA, played by Ashton Sanders, as he gathers a dozen young Black men into a super group. Dennis 'D-Love' Coles, played by Siddiq Saunderson, and Sha Raider, played by Shameik Moore, anchor the crew's struggles with money, rivalry, and loyalty while the group pushes toward the music industry. Each season is built from a serialized chain of studio sessions, street hustles, and family pressures, so the story moves forward as one continuing arc across three seasons and thirty episodes. The tone is gritty and soulful, grounded in the sounds, slang, and hardship of the neighborhood, with a driving ambition that keeps the group's dream tangible. Fans of Empire, The Get Down and Snowfall will find resonance in its portrait of ambition, brotherhood, and the cost of artistic ambition in a hard city.
